At first glance, it has a dense and upright brushed feel that can be mistaken for velvet. A luster that you wouldn't expect from 100% cotton, and a soft, washed texture. The secret lies in the fineness and fiber length of the thread. By using 50/1 cotton, which is thinner than the cotton normally used for velveteen and corduroy, the fiber length is long, so it is possible to express a supple, glossy, brushed feel. It's a material that smells like autumn and can be worn more casually than velvet and more beautifully than corduroy.
